Rick and Ana Reimer, missionaries at Camp Cederwood in Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba, are in need of prayer and financial support. Rick has been struggling with back problems for many years and was told recently that he would need disk replacement.

They would like to have the surgery done in Germany as soon as possible. The cost for the procedure, flights, and insurance is $48,000. Just over $15,000 has been raised so far. They have set up an account called Rick's Back Surgery Fund at Steinbach Credit Union which you can give directly to. Also, they have set up a gofundme webpage where you can support this need (www.gofundme.com/7xn3fnx2).

Jake and Martha Friesen, who recently stepped back from Gimli Bible camp after nearly a decade of service say, “we saw the mighty power of God working in the lives of children and youth this summer, many of these children gave their lives to Jesus and we marvel again at God’s amazing timing, He is never too early or too late. When the work load looked impossible in our own eyes, not knowing who would come and help, God in His perfect plan knew who was willing to give their all to the ministry, Our struggles in ministry were physical health, discouragement, loneliness, and family time. We endured in the knowledge that it is God who called us to this ministry, and HIs promises are true. He will not let you down, and he gives strength to endure. We continually desire to be steadfast in God’s word and faithful in prayer so the ministry will continue to grow.” Continue to pray for Jake and Martha Friesen as they adjust to life away from Gimli Bible Camp.

Lesley Doerksen (Equip2Serve) underwent an emergency appendectomy, but is recovering well. Lesley had recently returned from a trip to Ghana and we are thankful she was back in Canada before the procedure was required.
