October is Missions Month

The CMC will once again be hosting Missions Month this October.   Our churches will be focusing on this theme throughout the month with special guest speakers, missionary reports, and other missions-related events.  Here are some of the events planned for October:

Mission Report - February 2017

Pray for Russ and Nancy Sullivan and their family as they continue to serve at New Tribes Canada in Durham.

Terry and Rosie Banman recently reached 20 years since they joined New Tribes Misison in Papua New Guinea. Pray for them as they prepare for a home assignment in order to settle their youngest child, Sharla, into Canada.

Missions Report - December 2016

Pray for Duane and Sylvia Goertzen as they serve at Roseau River Bible Camp. Recently they reported how God had been answering prayer at the camp: “On Monday November 28th the staff team prayed specifically that God would send word to us this week that we would receive the funding for the biomass boiler project (major upgrade from our current coal boiler system).

Missions Report - September 2016

Kevin and Maria Martens left to begin their new ministry in Montevideo, Uruguay with Avant Mission at the end of August. They were blessed to have an apartment to move into upon their arrival. Pray for them as they begin this new ministry. Also, pray for their children who will again be adjusting to life apart from their parents.
